Ingredients:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 pkg (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold whole milk
  • 3 cups heavy whipping cream, chilled
  • 6-8 medium ripe bananas, sliced into coins
  • 1 box (11 oz) vanilla wafers
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Instructions:

  1. In a chilled medium bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream on high speed until stiff peaks form. Set this aside in the refrigerator.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Slowly stream in the sweetened condensed milk while mixing on medium speed until no lumps remain.
  3. Stir in the instant pudding mix and cold milk, beating until the mixture is thick and pale yellow.
  4. Using a rubber spatula, gently fold the whipped cream into the pudding base using a 'cut and fold' motion to avoid deflating the air bubbles.
  5. Toss banana slices in lemon juice. Spread a thin layer of the cream mixture at the bottom of a 9x13 inch glass baking dish.
  6. Add a layer of vanilla wafers, followed by a layer of sliced bananas. Repeat these layers—cream, wafers, bananas—until all ingredients are used, finishing with a generous layer of cream on top.
  7. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 4 hours to allow for stability and flavor infusion.
