Ingredients:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 pkg (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups cold whole milk
- 3 cups heavy whipping cream, chilled
- 6-8 medium ripe bananas, sliced into coins
- 1 box (11 oz) vanilla wafers
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Instructions:
- In a chilled medium bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream on high speed until stiff peaks form. Set this aside in the refrigerator.
- In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Slowly stream in the sweetened condensed milk while mixing on medium speed until no lumps remain.
- Stir in the instant pudding mix and cold milk, beating until the mixture is thick and pale yellow.
- Using a rubber spatula, gently fold the whipped cream into the pudding base using a 'cut and fold' motion to avoid deflating the air bubbles.
- Toss banana slices in lemon juice. Spread a thin layer of the cream mixture at the bottom of a 9x13 inch glass baking dish.
- Add a layer of vanilla wafers, followed by a layer of sliced bananas. Repeat these layers—cream, wafers, bananas—until all ingredients are used, finishing with a generous layer of cream on top.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 4 hours to allow for stability and flavor infusion.
