Ingredients:

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream, chilled
  • 1 can (14 oz / 397g) sweetened condensed milk, chilled
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch fine sea salt

Instructions:

  1. Place your mixing bowl and beaters in the freezer for 10–15 minutes to ensure the cream maintains its structure.
  2. Pour the chilled heavy whipping cream and salt into the cold bowl. Beat on medium-high speed until stiff peaks form.
  3. In a separate bowl, stir the vanilla extract into the sweetened condensed milk.
  4. Gently fold the condensed milk into the whipped cream using a rubber spatula with a 'cut and fold' motion to maintain aeration.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a freezer-safe container, smooth the top, and press parchment paper or plastic wrap directly onto the surface.
  6. Freeze for at least 6 hours, or until firm.
