Ingredients:

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream, chilled
  • 1/2 cup half-and-half
  • 1/2 cup lightened sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tbsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp fine sea salt
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar

Instructions:

  1. In a chilled mixing bowl, combine the lightened condensed milk, half-and-half, vanilla extract, and salt.
  2. Whisk vigorously for 60 seconds until the mixture is completely smooth and the salt has dissolved.
  3. Slowly stir in the heavy cream, ensuring a uniform, liquid consistency without over-beating into peaks.
  4. Pour the mixture into the frozen canister of an electric ice cream maker and churn for 15-20 minutes until the mixture thickens and begins to pull away from the sides.
  5. For soft-serve consistency, serve immediately. For a traditional scoopable texture, transfer to a freezer-safe container and freeze for an additional 2 hours.
