Ingredients:
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream, chilled
- 1/2 cup half-and-half
- 1/2 cup lightened sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tbsp pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp fine sea salt
- 1 tbsp powdered sugar
Instructions:
- In a chilled mixing bowl, combine the lightened condensed milk, half-and-half, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Whisk vigorously for 60 seconds until the mixture is completely smooth and the salt has dissolved.
- Slowly stir in the heavy cream, ensuring a uniform, liquid consistency without over-beating into peaks.
- Pour the mixture into the frozen canister of an electric ice cream maker and churn for 15-20 minutes until the mixture thickens and begins to pull away from the sides.
- For soft-serve consistency, serve immediately. For a traditional scoopable texture, transfer to a freezer-safe container and freeze for an additional 2 hours.
